Cool Websites I Like
Here I’ll try to keep a growing list of awesome personal websites I find while getting lost on the web. If you’re bored or looking for inspiration, every of these pages is probably a cool place to waste some time.
zachpoff.com

I was doing some research on outdoor audio recording and DIY blimps and then landed on a very detailed analysis of Zoom audio recorder on the website of Zach Poff. So many useful resources about a huge range of topics, and so much more stuff!
peterzimon.com

After searching for some niche information about something synthesizer, I stumbled open this guy. Seems like doing nice things all the time and working on passionate electronic music instrument projects.
maxhaesslein.de
Another basic looking but deep personal website by Max Häßlein. So many interesting projects, overviews of tools and stuff, and plenty of great pictures. A major inspiration for my own site right here.
tilman.me

Tilman is one of my fellow IndieWeb guys from the Homebrew Website Club in Nuremberg. This is less a singular website but more of a grown online presence, a hub into the different worlds of the man. You can find links to his WordPress blog, his Tumblr geometricdaily.com - which itself is a great project - and his freshly started Digital Garden, where he writes and documents his research focused on claiming one’s own space on the web abroad of social media and web silos.
This is actually a great place to start if you are interested in why and how you should start your own website.
revdancatt.com

Dan Catt describes himself as a contemporary print artist, whom I found through his YouTube channel, where he regularly posts vlog-style videos of his various projects and doings. Through him I discovered my interest and passion in pen plotting.
His style of giving every project of his its own kind of subblog is a really cool setup.
lushprojects.com

This website of Iain Sharp contains a lot of cool technical projects but also a blog with various content. I found it after I got hooked on using the Falstad circuit simulator, which was ported to JavaScript by Iain.
I really love how organic the site feels and how older projects still use their old respective style. Great site.
